BORN & RAISED TO BE A PRICK – ROBBIE ROX & The RUDE Band @ The MUDDY YORK 1996

Robbie Rox was born in Timmins, Ontario and received his education in Toronto at York University, destined for a career as a creative performer.

His career began in 1970 in Rimouski, Quebec, where he performed two distinct thirty-minute shows with an acoustic guitar. These performances led to Robbie opening for notable American acts such as Gentle Giant and Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels. In 1978, the now “Glabrous Headed Rox” released his first LP titled Construction Site with his band. That same year, he also formed the Catso, Porco, Rozzo Band.

In the early 90s, Robbie reunited with some of the musicians from his original band to form The Rude Band.
